CIP Self-Review Documents and Templates
The CIP Self-Review is a means for Educators to show promising practices to the Office of Career and Technical Education(OCTE). It is also a means for OCTE to determine what is right and what needs improvement in state approved CTE programs. This is an opportunity to show evidence of what your program is doing. Put your best foot forward. You are a great educator and it's time everyone knows that! Take your time and complete your CIP Self-review on the CTENavigator.org web site. Here are some samples and templates that may make things a bit easier for you. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. The following documents and templates were taken from the www.michigan.gov/octe web site, from various schools around the state of Michigan, and from CTE Temps developers. It is our hope that your task will be quick and easy and produce a great program result.

These images demonstrate an adjustable work station for students, a classroom with ample space for wheelchairs, a non-traditional program student (this depends on what program you are highlighting. See the Non-traditional list below), and evidence of proper equipment in a program. These photos came from various programs from the GASC Technology Center and Wayne RESA Programs. They are for demonstration purposes only and were used with the permission of the owners.
